In my new role, I will continue to drive SES’s vision of operational excellence and portfolio growth whilst delivering on our customer requirements. I look forward to a seamless transition and to working with the SES team for many years to come.”
Denise and Julie were contemporaries from their time as GECAS, which Julie joined in 1997 Julie was appointed CEO of SES in 2013. “When I joined, there were around 28 of us, we had a portfolio of 200 engines,” Julie explains. “Today we have more than 100 employees and a portfolio of over 600 owned and managed engines. With Denise’s appointment I know that I am passing on the company to someone who values our people, for it is the long-term relationships that they build and nurture, and their technical skills which have always been the foundation of our success. She is also inheriting a senior leadership team that is second to none and a business that is admired by its peers.”
