Senior Project Accountant FP&A

Principal Objective of the role

To support the provision of quality financial and management information on a timely basis to facilitate decision making

Superuser of the company’s forecasting tool

Assist with FP&A monthly tasks where required

Key Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for maintaining and developing the company’s forecasting tool
  • Investigating balances within the forecasting tool
  • Creating and generating reports on a timely basis
  • Developing timely dashboards and reports for internal and shareholder use
  • To assist with more frequent forecasting as the company continues to grow
  • To assist in running new debt scenarios (develop new products in the forecasting tool as required)
  • US GAAP scenarios in the forecasting tool
  • Member of cross business financial planning team
  • Involvement all financial planning, forecasting and analysis apart from top line (Revenue and MRF)
  • Work directly with SLT members to facilitate reporting, forecasting and analysis of financial and operational results, as well as conducting analyses to support business decisions
  • Work closely with Treasury on detailed cash forecasting and longer-term liquidity needs
  • Organize and coordinate the forecasting processes: budget, reforecasts, Mid-term plans under IFRS and US GAAP
  • Projects as required
  • Some limited travel may be required

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with A minimum 5+ years of experience in an international environment
  • Experience in ERP/forecasting system implementation
  • Experience in IFRS and USGAAP reporting
